Young Achivers’ Award : 25th National Real Estate Awards

Shri Darshan Hiranandani received Young Achiver’s Award. Shri Niranjan Hiranandani received the Award for his son.
Darshan is Managing the $3billion Hiranandani Group, India’s largest residential developer. He heads the real estate operations in Dubai and the energy operations in India. The Dubai arm is completing the world’s tallest residential building called 23 Marina and is currently developing the Taj Exotica, in Dubai on the Palm.
The group’s energy foray is beginning with a 2500MW gas based power plant which will be the largest of its kind in India with an investment of USD 2billion. Darshan also plays a key role in the Hirco group – Niranjan Hiranandani’s development arm for India projects. They listed a 750 million dollar fund on the AIM, which was the largest IPO on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM for 2006. Hirco is already committed to developing 100 million sq.ft. between its Chennai and Panvel townships.
