Outskirts of the city is now more costly then CBD residential areas.   AHMEDABAD..... ..... Huge NRI funds were recently invested in residential segment of the city. Commercial too is feeling the heat. Residential rates are marginally up by 20% since last quarter. The trend is likely to continue.   BANGALORE...... ...IT and ITES are again in the buying spree. Residential complexes are getting good demand. NRIs investments are up again. Service apartment concept is catching up in the city. Commercial lease rentals are rising.   PUNE.... ... Pune is poised as IT centre by the developers. In fact many leading IT brands are in the city. It has enhanced the residential rates. Outskirts like Viman Nagar, Pimpari and Chinchwad also now having great demand. Good time ahead.   DELHI .... ...The market is slow for residential units. Noida and Gurgaon also have touched historic level. New zones are in the competition. Faridabad and Merut along with Rohtak are busy catering for demand in Delhi and NCR    MUMBAI.. ..... ..Realty Fund and investors of large real estate holdings are still maintaining the price level. Developing zones are feeling heat. Small pocket developers are also panic in the market. Residential prices stagnated as of now.

Mumbai in Malls

While mall concept is catching the attention of retailers across the country, Mumbai will be soon available in Malls.

Over 60 lakh sq.ft. of Malls are being constructed in different parts of the city. The retail sector development in Mumbai, are set to accelerate, due to the success of 'Crossroads', Shopper's Stop and Haiko.

Neelkanth is developing speciality Mall for Jewellers at Santacruz West. The trend for specialised mall is in offing.

In Delhi and its surrounding areas like Noida and Gurgaon, retail development is on its peak. To encourage such development, the government of Andhra Pradesh is planning to provide tax relief's to such development and its occupants. Pune, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai are the cities where retail development and multiplexes are in advance stage of development.

In Mumbai, World Class malls with entertainment and food courts are giving new experience to customers.

Dynamix  Juhu Malls, R Mall, Nirmal Lifestyle Mall, Growell, Dheeraj Heritage, Fun Republic, Haiko, Marathon Max and In Orbit are some of the best planned Malls in Mumbai.

Earlier only Heera Panna and Manish Market at South Mumbai were catering the vaccum for malls. Citi Centre at Goregaon west was probably first Mall in suburbs.

Akbarallys has years of experience in malls which is best spot for shopping. Shoppers Stop started with ready made garments and then started selling perfumes, Jewellery, shoes etc.

West-side from Tata's was recent entrant in such venture. At Hughes road, the store is offering lifestyle goods with excellent ambience with puzzle car parking.

Shops in market area near stations like Malad, Santacruz or at any suburbs will be losing business because of Malls.

Prime Malls at Irla near Alfa also will be one of the best architecture to satisfy not only local demand but also entire city.

It seems the lifestyle of people is changing, be it Shopping  or entertainment.
