28 applications for housing projects in Gir sanctuary

Ahmedabad: Here forest department has got 28 applications for housing projects in Gir sanctuary are still pending. As the Gujarat’s citizens are interested to live with the wild Gir lions. After the Central Government’s approval for eco-sensitive zone around Gir realtors have rushed to forest department to apply for the housing projects.
Before the final stamp of approval from Collectorate department, forest department has to issue no-objection certificate (NOC) as it is yet pending.
