Building plan proposals likely to be online in Thane soon

Thane: On Friday Municipal commissioner R A Rajeev had disclosed that foggy dealings between builders and officials have to come to an end, so to minimize the irregularities in dealing in future all the property proposals will be accepted online only via web-based system which has recently launched by Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
According to the senior officials of TMC said that “acceptance and clearance of proposals will be made online only and that will ease to people as they don’t have to waste their time in queues outside the department.” He added that after launching this move people need not to contact to the influential officers to get clear the proposals.
The planning department hi-tech plan will start in the upcoming two weeks, whereas for the next 15 days the department’s office will be closed for the outsider but our officers will continue with the pending proposals, Rajeev said. He added that after completing 15 days we will reopen the office and having reports of cleared pending proposals and in between we answer to the RTI too.
