Conveyance rules notified in Maharashtra

Government of Maharashtra have Set Rules for Deemed Conveyance on 14 Oct 10. The state housing department issued the notification defining rules for implementing deemed conveyance.

The notification was approved by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on September 28 this year.The delay was because a copy had to be sent to the subordinate legislative assembly committee that is overseeing the matter, said housing department officials, as reported.

Housing societies can file their application before the District Deputy Registrar. The first hearing should be held within a fortnight of receipt of the application. If there are discrepancies, then the matter can be adjourned. All matters must be decided within six months, state the rules.
