DDA announced HIG schemes in Dwarka, soon

The forthcoming housing schemes of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have brought sigh of relief to home-seekers, those were unable to book flats under the DDA Housing Schemes 2010.
The authority is coming up with construction schemes in Dwarka which will be particularly for Higher Income Groups (HIG). Maximum number of projects will come up in sector 26 and 27 and will offer housing to thousands of people in the National Capital Region.
According to the DDA there will be likely to come up 1240 HIG housing units in sector 19B. Apart from this budget of 401 crore has been approved for the construction of the said scheme.
The authority has got NOC from Airport Authority of India for this upcoming scheme as it will come up in the vicinity of Airport, DDA officials said.
Officer added that, approx 352 housing units will come up in sector 19, Pocket III. The building will be having 8-10 storeyed. The several local bodies have received tenders to appoint consultant for design and obtaining approval.
