Historical Buildings in Dilapidated Conditions
The protected monuments / historical buildings of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) are in a good state of preservation. The conservation work of the monuments is a continuous process. During the last three years 4,745 Nos. of conservation works were attended at the protected monuments. For the current financial year 1,595 Nos. of works have been proposed to be taken up at different monuments.

Conservation works at the monuments are identified depending upon the availability of resources and need of repair at different sites. Conservation works are proposed by Circle Offices of ASI after the field survey/assessment.
