Inaugural India International furniture Fair to feature premium brands for buoyant market

Mumbai: Leveraging on the growing demand of for quality furniture, the inaugural edition of the India International furniture Fair to feature (IIFF) will take place in Mumbai at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre from 16 to 18 November 2011.
Organised by MP International Pte Ltd (MPI) in partnership with the International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) Pte Ltd, the show will welcome about 80 participating companies and brands from leading furniture names from around the world. The trade show expected to gross 5000 square meters, will feature special country pavilions including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China and Spain. Over 70 percent exhibitors will be from the overseas.
Speaking in Media Conclave in Mumbai, Ms Sylvia Phua, Chief Executive Officer of MP International said, “As an established tradeshow organiser and owner of the Singapore International Furniture Show which has been held since 1981, we believe we can value-add to the Indian furniture market by providing a credible buyer-seller meeting keep abreast of major global design and industry trends.”
