India International Furniture Fair (IIFF) Debuts In Mumbai soon

Mumbai– India’s strong demand for high-end furniture and furnishings has attracted the organisers of Asia’s largest and most successful furniture show to launch its trade show in Mumbai. The show has lined up in Mumbai under the name of “India International Furniture Fair” and it will be scheduled from 16th to 18th Nov 2011 at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, NSE Estate, Off Western Express Highway Goregaon (East), Mumbai. And exhibition will be spread over the 10000 square meter. According to the spokesperson of the company around 5000 buyers from across the India, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates.
Regional trade associations such as the Singapore Furniture Industries Council, Association of Furniture Manufacturers of India (AFMI) and Institute of Indian Interior Designers and Vietnam Chambers of Commerce & Industry have already affirmed their support for this trade show. Mr Anil Mathur, chairman of AFMI said, “The India International Furniture Fair will be beneficial, not only for India’s high-end furniture importers and retailers to network and source for exciting furniture brands, but also for our local architects, interior designers and real estate developers to be exposed to a diverse range of innovative furniture designs.”
A wide range of exhibits, from residential to commercial furniture, occasional furniture and furnishings will be on display at the IIFF. Besides extensive promotions in the Indian subcontinent, attractive show highlights have also been planned to include a new-to-market product showcase and industry seminars on design trends and new product innovations.
