Irregularities in regularization of illegal colonies: BJP

Delhi’s BJP has poured venom on the city government, alleging that there are irregularities in distribution of provisional regularisation certificates to certain fabricated unauthorized colonies. Political party also cited that it would be big land scam and also demanded the CBI sleuth in this matter.
Senior leaders of party alleged that “the existing government is regularizing the several non-existing illegal colonies flouting norms to benefit “land mafias”.
Opposition leader V K Malhotra in a statement cited that “there are approx 50 such type of colonies which have received provisional regularisation certificates but Delhi Development Authority has issued notices to vacate them.”
Following to allegations made by the opposition parties Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has already issued order to Urban Development department to find out irregularities in this matter, however party leaders said that government should have to conduct CBI sleuth, sources said.
According to complaints filed before the Lokayukta Justice Manmohan Sarin, provisional regularisation certificates were issued by Delhi government to certain “non-existent” colonies which do not meet prescribed norms.
