Mumbai:
Court has cleared all the hurdles for redevelopment of a Khar building by keeping aside all the objections made by members. On Tuesday BMC has granted the permission to developer for unable to seek permission of members of the entire building.
In June 2008 IOD (intimation of disapproval) has been issue to Acknur Construction for redevelopment of Fardoon Cooperative Housing Society it has now revoked by the BMC. The disputed building is 39 year old located in the textile and garment market at Khar. The BMC said it would be appropriate for the builder to start afresh as it was “clear that some members would object and not give their consent, which is a precondition to issue a commencement certificate (CC) and without which the development process will be stalled.”
