Mallya keen on buying prime Bangalore property

Owner of the Kingfisher Airlines and UB Group chairman Mr. Vijay Mallya seems to be keen on buying a 36,000 sqft of plot at a very prime location in Bangalore, on MG Road, which  houses the city’s famous Brindavan Hotel. 

A landmark on the famous M.G.Road, the Brindavan  Hotel is run by the family of Raos Since 1960 and was the last word in luxury up to 80’s. However, with more luxurious and contemporary properties coming up in the city and  the change in consumer preferences, the management is facing difficulties.

Mr. Mallya is planning a commercial-cum-residential project, with a penthouse overlooking the MG Road. He also has offered  the amount  much more than expected by the Brindavan owners. Many NRIs are also keen on buying the said property.
