MMRDA to offer BEST connectivity and safe traveling option for the Mumbaikars

Mumbaikars are about to get much relief regarding the issue of convenient options of safe traveling within the city.

The Metro rail and Mono rail projects being developed by MMRDA are expected to complete and run by next year. In order to provide convenience and  trouble-free traveling for the citizens , the BEST authority has decided to integrate the bus services with nearest stations of Metro and Monorail. Mumbai Metro One Private Limited, (MMOPL) recently conducted a meeting with BEST to solve the issues associated with this inconvenience in future.

MMRDA is taking efforts to provide facilities for the citizens for convenient travelling. This project will gather multitudes of people on the Metro – Mono rail stations and shall satisfy the needs of the citizens and enhance the transport system in Mumbai. MMRDA is planning to provide integrated ticketing system too, which will facilitate a well-integrated public transport system in the coming future and will offer a simple integrated fare structure across various modes of transport.

The first phase of Metro from Versova – Andheri – Ghatkopar and the Monorail from Chembur – Wadala – Jacob circle will be ready next year. The BEST organization is planning to integrate the bus services with Metro and Monorail in respective areas.
