Mumbai: Due to the bureaucratic process city’s several realty projects are awaiting for approvals. According to the several realtors, projects those are spread over more than the 20,000 sq mtr and required civic body’s clearance will take more than a year to start.
However, contrary to this several market players think that process will not take more than three to four months to get approved if builders are submitting papers in order.
“The process of approving projects should take place in three months once a review system is place,” Municipal Commissioner said. He added that “monthly review required on regular basis at the municipal commissioner’s level, and several departments should be asked on regular basis in delayed cases.”
Before getting final approval from department file have to pass through the many departments such as sub engineer to assistant engineer, executive engineer, deputy chief engineer, executive engineer planning (EEP) 1, chief engineer (development plan), EEP 2, director, officer on special duty to the civic chief.
