Panjarpol to have longest ROB till date
MMRDA is constructing one of the longest Railway over Bridge (ROB) worth 30 crore at Stanvack Nagar near Panjarpol. The 60 meters long ROB consisting of total 18 piers, will cross over 8 railway tracks above the ground level. Starting from Sahyadri Nagar it will pass toward Rahul Nagar. 30 % of it’s construction work is concluded and rest will be completed soon.
The Railway tracks at Stanvack Nagar are specially used for carrying Goods of HPCL, BPCL and RCF. This project is a part of the Anik – Panjarpol Link Road (APLR) which is a five-km stretch between Anik junction and Panjarpol in Chembur.
The bridge will be a safer traveling option and would help reduce the traveling time for people commuting on daily basis.
