Pune property rates increased due to hike in ready reckoner rates

Property prices has also been affected in the outskirts of the Pune as RR rates hiked by 10 to 25% in Pimperi-Chinchwad

The state government has increases the ready reckoner rates for valuation of properties and payment of stamp duty and registration charges have been increased by 10 to 30% in Pune and by 10 to 25% in Pimpri-Chinchwad will be effective from January 1, 2012.
In specific areas prices of land and property has been fixed as per the government. The calculation is carried out either on the market rate or RR rate, whichever is higher.
Whereas, in the several areas of city is already much higher than the government rates, though rise in RR rates does not directly affect property buyers.
The RR rates has been hiked by 10% in Peth and gaothaan areas of Pune city, also rates raised in other areas by 20% to 30% such as Kothrud, Sahakarnagar, Padmavati, Prabhat road and Koregaon Park as well as newly-developing fringe areas like Baner, Pashan, Vadgaon Sheri, Vishrantwadi etc.

  1. I agree with you, properties rates are touching heights. For a middle class man which is really bad as for those who are interested and planning flats in new year and good as well for those who are already holding lot of properties as their investment.
