Tug of War in Wadia-Raheja over 600acre Property in Malad

Mumbai: The dispute over the 600 acre property in Malad between Nusli Wadia industrialist and realtor Gopal Raheja will continue in the Bombay High Court. Seeking Wadia’s removal as caretaker of the Malad (W) property Raheja Group of company has filed a plea in the HC. However, Ferani Hotels (FHL) has appealed against the December 2010 decision of a single bench of the HC to allow Wadia to continue as the estate’s administrator.
A division bench headed by the DK Deshmukh and Ranjit admitted the appeal. In 1995, has become the administrator of the property entered into agreement with Ferani Hotel, a Raheja led company. As per the conditions of the agreement Raheja to develop land and pay a 12% share from the sales realisation to Wadia.
